Having reached Platinum status within the required date, I managed to get a demo download of Super Smash Bros. for 3DS. The only playable characters in this demo are Mario, Link, Pikachu, Mega Man, and Villager; and the only selectable stage is Battlefield. So far I found the demo OK, and the only things that bothered me were that I wasn't able to customize the button configuration (getting used to to using A and B as attacks instead of getting to use A to jump is going to be VERY difficult). Still I don't think I'm going to get the full game anyway, especially because of the big second thing that bothers me about this game: Not being able to transform at will with Zelda and Sheik. I am aware that many players tend to stick with one form, and that's why splitting Samus and Zero Suit Samus was much better received; but in Zelda/Sheik's case, there are STILL fans of the transform move, who sadly are being left out because of the announcement, and there are actually ways to appeal to both
gameplay preferences (especially because admittedly, Sheik being Zelda is serious business,
which is why Hyrule Warriors' treatment of Zelda and Sheik is considered much better in comparison, and one of the reasons why I'm getting that game instead). I will show you soon with a couple of drawings when I have the time. I just hope they fix this mess in the future.
And as far as good things go:
